Southern Accents Trading Company (SATC) will meet with clients prior to an estate sale to hear wants and needs and to assess if an estate sale meets those. Once all your wants and needs are addressed and prior to our staging/pricing, we need all personal effects and items you would like to keep removed/isolated or clearly identified. Please be sure to take your time with what will remain with family. Please do not throw or donate any items away prior to the initial meeting with our representatives. The more items in the estate for sale the more draw the estate sale will have. The only items you should secure are photo's, personal papers, documents, checks, identifications, birth certificates, and military papers. After all desired items are identified, SATC staff will prepare the remaining items for sale. After organizing, displaying, photography, pricing and light general cleaning is completed, we perform very robust and successful online and off line advertising campaign of the estate sale. Estate sales are generally held on the weekends for two or three days, depending on the quality and quantity of the personal property. SATC handles all the aspects of the sale - before, during, and after - therefore, the executor, trustee, conservator or owner need not be present. When the sale is over, you can elect which previously explained option described during our consultation on ways to have unsold items handled.

Schedule – Together we will schedule a date for the event. Each event usually runs between one and three days.
Staging – The goal of our team is to stage your home or business as a showroom. Staging/pricing usually takes between five and seven days largely depending on the size of the estate.
Pricing – Each item will be marked with a price tag with the exception of small items. ie... service utensils, linens, clothes, shoes, household chemicals, common books etc. We research and appraise each of your items in accordance with today’s fair market value. In some situations our team will identify certain items that are better suited for consignment after sale if not sold during. In these cases, if needed, we can collect and sell them in a appropriate and agreed upon manner.
Photography – We will take extensive photos for proper advertising of the sale.
Advertising – We extensively market the sale using the internet such as estatesales.net a nation-wide estate sale listing website that has thousands of subscribers, in addition we use our own email chain. In addition we promote your sale on our web page and in our store fronts and multiple other online outlets. Through our multi-layer approach to advertising, we look forward to both a well-attended and lucrative sale!
Signage – On the day of the sale, professional signs will be strategically placed around your neighborhood to ensure maximum attendance, if the city or community covenants allow.
Staffing – All events will have a cashier and as many sales associates as needed.
Accounting - Once the Estate Sale Event has ended we provide a accounting detail of the gross amount realized, the total fees incurred, and the total net proceeds.
